From what I have studied haughtiness is when one thinks they are arrogantly superior and better than other people. If one is proud they take little account for their weaknesses, self-satisfaction is top priority and stumbling blocks are not considered in their thoughts. TWO KINDS OF JOY: “You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine.” Psalm 4:7 We all long for this “greater joy” in our lives. In this Psalm David talks about inward joy and outward joy aka happiness. Inward joy comes from knowing and trusting God. David knew and trusted God!  Outward happiness comes as a result of pleasant circumstances – the rain. As we build an intimate relationship with God, inward joy will be steady and constant. Good morning. Lisa here and I have just started the book of Revelation!  This  will be my second time reading through the entire Bible. My pace is slow, but it literally feeds me each day to go out into this world. I read from an Application teaching bible and it gives a blueprint, megathemes and vital statistics about each book before you read it.
