• Are You Blindfolded?

Earlier this year I volunteered to do a Ted Talk on leadership in front of 200 colleagues. Most of my friends said, “you are doing what?” Yeah, I know. It was crazy. I thought the same thing! But I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with a professional coach.  Side note: I also proved to myself that I could still memorize a script!  My talk was on setting a vision for your team. In the business world it’s about having a North Star; that visionary goal of where you want to go and putting together a plan on how to get there. It leads to more engaged team members…

  • We are here for each other!

Happy Monday my friends!  As we approach this Monday let’s stop right now and give God the praise He deserves. Truly thank Him for the blessings in your life and ask Him to bring forth any anxieties or fears you are harboring. We are here for each other, please know this! You are loved – reach out to another woman in this group if you are struggling with anything. We as WWRF believe God has a plan and we are to be His vessels of love and comfort to anyone who needs it. Read and pray Psalm 139:23-24. Look for Heather’s blog this week, it will bless you in so…

  • Pray for ALL People

“I urge you, first of all, to pray for ALL people. Ask God to help them, intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and ALL who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” 1 Timothy 2 “How this works is a mystery”…..I wrote those words down last month in my journal as I reflected on this scripture. I stopped and thought about how often I “haven’t” prayed for the leaders around me. Think about…

  • Beyond Borders

Beyond Borders was last Saturday and it will be a day Heather and I will never forget! It was so great to gather women together and talk about our faith and how to stay rooted in the workplace! (This includes any type of work you do, stay at home moms too!) Thank you all who joined us, what a wonderful day. God is so good! God placed it on Heather’s and my heart to move forward with this ministry and Saturday happened to bring Him glory. Thank you again Allison, Irene, Jess, Maria, Christina, Amaya and Todd! Our Dream Team!! Love you all so much! Please keep us in prayer…

  • Well Done…

“Well done my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together.” Matthew 25:21 I LOVE the parable of the loaned money.  The first time I read it in my Bible I underlined and highlighted it. Such words of wisdom given to us directly from Jesus! #hiswordsnotmine The teaching portion of my Bible references for us to use our time, talents, and treasures diligently in order to serve God completely in WHATEVER we do. “Well done” – yes what you do at work matters. It matters to your company, your school, your hospital, your…

  • The Smell of Jesus

It is Monday and another work week is starting. We are entering the 4th quarter and another year will be in the books soon. Life moves so fast…. As we move through this week, let’s keep in our hearts and minds our Savior,  Jesus! As I read through the book of John, Jesus tells us how his Father sent Him and He will only be glorified if His Father wills it.  He tells the Pharisees they lack ears to hear Him because they don’t believe the Father sent Him! If we love the Father we must love Jesus. Do you hear Jesus!?  Do you love Him!? Let me tell you…

  • Be the Example

Happy weekend!  Lisa here…I am coming off a great week at Morrisette!  I am so thankful to our God for allowing Ally Johnson and I to train a group of Morrisette employees on sales procedures & behaviors – training is our passion and our purpose! Both of us are Christians who follow Jesus with all our hearts, minds and souls. We prayed before each day of training and shared behaviors that will help change our team for the better – to teach them to be a light in someone’s day!  Big reminder for me… Our actions as Christians will encourage everyone we meet – even at work!! Be the example!!…
