Sacrifice Always Precedes Success
Do you put each team member above your own success at work? To grow into a leader who influences others & people want to follow – we have to SERVE our teams! We will personally grow as a leader when we sacrifice for a team member and intentionally serve from the heart. As Christian leaders within the workplace…we must serve God first, our teams second and we are last…then watch your leadership influence flourish beyond imagined! Your team will follow you!

Learn, Develop, Do, Love
Both James and Peter write about taking action to grow in our faith and Christian character. In order to lead others well, we must first take actions to grow our faith and trust in God. Your leadership ability will then be founded on Biblical truths! The best!! #itsallintheBible Peter writes in 2 Peter 1:5-8: “In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and more excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.” This is…

Passion & Purpose
To move toward intentional personal growth we must look at the Law of Awareness – “You must know yourself to grow yourself!” John Maxwell. Start with these questions to help you get to know yourself – what you really want to do! Our goal in life should be to do what we were created to do, but we have to know ourselves first! To get to passion and purpose – know what you like and want – then make a plan! #stayrooted#leadership#growth#digdeep#justdoit#achiever

Personal Development Plan
Personal Growth Plan – Just do it! No matter what job we have or what relationship we are in, we can always improve! Change will happen everyday no matter what, but growth will only happen intentionally and with a plan. Do you know that person who has influence in and on your life? A True Friend
My Mom has always told us that as we go through life, if we find one true friend we are blessed. Today as I was listening to the song “How Great is our God” I just had an overwhelming feeling of deepest gratitude for a very special friend. The past few weeks have been 90 miles per hour for me. I have struggled mentality and physically to keep up with a very demanding career on top of being a Mom, wife, daughter and ministry leader. As Jamey Green once preached, I have been in the middle of a full blown “freak out moment.” It all came crashing down this week…

Book of Life – Is Your Name in It?
There is one way to hope, acceptance, freedom, peace and love – today and forever – that way is Jesus! Jesus’ words: Rev 3:5-6 “All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and His angels they are mine. Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches.” To be clothed in white means to be set apart. Christ DOES promise future honor and eternal life to those who stand firm in their faith! We are going to be set apart! The…

Covid Funk
During the last 9 months of Covid I have been struggling with some old bad habits, along with not wanting to exercise, not wanting to eat well, not caring about my heath and I just plain feel physically awful. I am in a funk. Can anyone else relate? My daughter asked me if I had taken these issues to God? “Truthful witnesses save lives; false witnesses are traitors” (Proverb 14:25) We must turn to God when we are struggling (no matter what it is) and ask for His help and direction. What a blessing to have truth come from the ones closest to you! When truth hits us upside the…

BUT EVEN IF HE DOESN’T
Faith by believing and not by seeing. What powerful words written by Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:7. We’ve all heard the story from the Bible about the three men thrown into the furnace. This is the kind of faith Paul was writing about. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were standing in front of King Nebuchadnezzar as he demanded that they bow down to his idols or be thrown into the blazing furnace. Were they scared? Did they ask for time to think about their decision? Did they bow down to the idols to save their lives? No! “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is…
