Spiritual Nourishment

Jesus explained, “My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work.”  John 4:34

Jesus had just finishing telling the disciples He has the kind of food you know nothing about.

Are you hungry for Jesus? 

As we continue to build our faith & nourishment through Bible reading, prayer and church, let me challenge you, how do we go deeper for more spiritual nourishment?

As Jesus said, “to be filled we are to do the will of God!” This consists of us witnessing for Jesus and spreading the Good News. Remember, we are nourished (filled) not only by what we take in, but also by what we give out for God.

Jesus said, “I sent you to harvest where you didn’t plant; others had already done the work, and now you will get to gather the harvest.”

John 4:38

We often make excuses that the people around us are not ready to believe, so we don’t talk about Jesus and share the Good News.  I have denied Jesus this way many times.  I am all caught up in my own head and do not do God’s will.  But we can change for the Lord! We can be bold for the Lord and step out in faith and witness!  #crazyfaith

The harvest is large my friends!  Look around you and you will find people ready to hear God’s Word.  We must open our eyes to see the Harvest!!
