These two women and their story is all about relationships and faith! Read as we highlight these BOLD women for God.
It is a relationship where their greatest bond was faith in God. They had a strong mutual commitment for each other and each woman did what was best for the other person. Just to remind you…Ruth was Naomi’s daughter in law. Ruth’s husband died and Naomi had no other sons for her to marry. Ruth insisted on staying with her Mother in Law in her land and taking care of her wherever they were to go.
The lesson in this story for us all about Ruth and Naomi’s relationship is…God’s living presence in a relationship overcomes differences that might otherwise create division and disharmony.
These are two BOLD women for God! They had faith and took action guided by love. Their story helps us stay focused on God and know He will use us and the situation for His good. What obedience, trust, and love these two have for each other – amazing!!
Ruth did follow Naomi, took care of her, and ended up with a husband named Boaz. Their love story is beautiful, faithful, one of integrity and has GOD all over it!
