Reflect & Repent

This morning in my bible reading I started reading about Jesus ministry in Matthew. (Love this Book!!!)

“Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” (Matthew 4:17)  These words are what Jesus started His ministry on and preached to everyone. This was  mirroring the same message John the Baptist was preaching.

This message is the SAME today as when Jesus and John gave it over 2000 years ago!  Repent and turn to God!  It is so simple but we have to do it!!

Reflect today during your crazy busy Monday and ask yourself, “Am I wholeheartedly following Jesus Christ, have I repented of all my sin and do I turn toward Him daily?”

If you are not, stop & pray about it.  Ask God to make you aware of where you need to change and commit.  Then do as Jesus says, “repent of your sins and turn toward God!”

There is no sin problem too great or too small for our God.  God will forgive us through accepting Jesus and repenting and turning toward Him! Jesus traveled all over spreading this Good News of the gospel. The Good News offers freedom, hope, peace of heart and eternal life with God!!! (How incredibly awesome is this !!!!!)

Stop right now and reflect about your life…. Now go read the gospel if you need encouragement. Jesus is the best encourager there is, hands down.
