Jesus: The Most Powerful & The Servant

Reading the story of Jesus’ death has been overwhelming this Good Friday morning. He obeyed God’s will perfectly and endured the mocking, beating and nailing to the CROSS. He suffered and died so greatly for us.

Thank you Jesus!

Reflection on Jesus Servanthood:

Jesus has ALL the power and ALL the authority in heaven and on earth & He still CHOSE to serve others!

Our world now sees power as a way to gain control over others – but not Jesus – He CHOSE to serve others.

A few ways He served:

He held children in his arms, healed the sick, washed the disciples feet, and died for the sins of the WORLD!

YES – He died for the whole world!

Jesus’ followers today receive this SAME power to SERVE. As believers we are called to be SERVANTS of Christ.

As Christ served, so we are to serve!
