Holy Fear & Awe
“Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakeable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.” Hebrews 12:28
“We are receiving a Kingdom (for eternity!) that is unshakeable.” Our world is shakeable, it’s uncertain. It wants to chew us up and bring us down. But we get to worship and praise our Father through all things with a “thankful” heart because we know the promise He has given us. #truth
“Let us be thankful.” The Bible didn’t say “you will automatically be thankful” it says “let” – – its a call for action and for constant reflection in our lives. Being thankful is how we should live; not just something we think about during a holiday. #alwaysthankful
We hope you’ve enjoyed reading our blogs this week during the Week of Thankfulness. As we connect to God’s word each day we see over and over again what to truly be thankful for:
For answered prayers.
For God’s provision for our needs.
For God’s blessings.
For you, our sisters in Christ.
For God’s character.
If you’d like to read more on thankfulness we encourage you to spend time reading these scriptures. We love each of you and our prayers are for you, for the impact you are making in this world and the light of Jesus Christ that you shine wherever you are each day.
