Heavy Heart…

Today we will celebrate the life of Jordan Washburn…a servant for our Lord is how he can be described.  Jordan was our first salesman at Morrisette back in 1962.  He has set the bar high in performance but even more so in his character and how he treats people. He flowed character like Jesus and loved everyone.

I have known Jordan since 2005 and also his son Jess, who is currently in sales at Morrisette. When Jordan entered a room he had that thing, where everyone wanted to hear what he was going to say or just a chance to shake his hand. He genuinely cared about everyone he encountered.

He spoke at our Christmas meeting last year and gave out these cards to us all. They have impacted us so greatly, he was passing the love of Jesus to us.

“Whose life will be better because I woke up today?”  He asked us this question and said to put it by your beds and read it each day. What an incredible motto to live by and he did, we should also!! His mother instilled in him to love everyone, not just people like us. What a sweet momma he had.

There will be many tears today as we lay to rest a man with charisma and love, thank you for influencing me Jordan. You love Jesus and people, what a life you lIved! Enjoy heaven and our Jesus!!
