God’s Will…

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Really Paul – ALL circumstances?!? This can be hard to wrap our minds around sometimes.

In the teaching part of the Bible it says, “Paul is teaching us not to be thankful FOR everything that happens to us, but IN everything.”

We gotta be IN God! When bad things happen to us and evil strikes we can still be thankful for the good that He will accomplish through the suffering. Suffering will be part of our faith walk, it will not be fun to go through but we must turn IN to God during these times.

Unpacking this scripture a bit more…

“Be joyful,” because even in the midst of suffering, God is in control. #joy

“Never stop praying”…God is ALWAYS with you, keep talking to Him daily. #prayer

“Be thankful in all circumstances…”Let’s make a list of ALL the gifts through circumstances God has given us and give thanks to each and everyone in prayer today. #ALL

My thanks to God starts with my Faith, then my marriage, then my family, then my health, & then my “messy table” friends. Is life always perfect in the above He has given me – nope – but so thankful for all of it through the good times and the storms.

God has blessed us with 3 grand babies and 1 on her way. These children are a gift from God!! So so thankful. Thank you God the Father for these Grands!! #gifilife

God has also provided me with the ability to have a career and purchase things like a home and car-thank you! But…more importantly God is teaching me to give back to people what HE has provided to me. To give back money or teaching of the Word to working women. Thank you Lord for giving me this heart and mind change through your Word and your Son. #itallbelongstoGod #giveitback #WWRF #rooted
