Fire Control…
Proverbs can really wake us up to bad habits we continue to do. How many times a day do you complain, gossip about someone (won’t say it in front of them basically) or just plain have an attitude of being annoyed with people?
I dare you to keep track…it will give us a dose of self awareness we all need! Then go read Proverbs each day. It will remind us that we can be kind to others and really LOVE like Jesus.
“Fire goes out without wood, and quarrels disappear when gossip stops.” Proverbs 26:20
When we keep talking and complaining about every little irritation in a situation & also the people – we keep putting wood on the gossip circle of fire! When we refuse to keep talking about the situation or others…then the WOOD is not there to fuel the anger. We kill the fire in the circle of gossip!
Be a fire killer and stop gossiping! Heather and I both have been convicted of this professionally and personally in 2022, we are works in progress and hope you can make change also!
