Don’t Forget The Why
Joshua carried out every detail that had been given to him. The Israelites had their land and had defeated many armies.
But Joshua reminded the people again to “love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him and serve him with all your heart and your soul.”
It’s easy to get so caught up in the details and planning of the mission that we can forget the “why” behind the mission. But just as Joshua reminded the Israelites, we too must hold firmly to God with our whole heart so that our service brings honor and glory to the Father.
