Beyond Borders

Beyond Borders was last Saturday and it will be a day Heather and I will never forget! It was so great to gather women together and talk about our faith and how to stay rooted in the workplace! (This includes any type of work you do, stay at home moms too!) Thank you all who joined us, what a wonderful day.

God is so good!

God placed it on Heather’s and my heart to move forward with this ministry and Saturday happened to bring Him glory. Thank you again Allison, Irene, Jess, Maria, Christina, Amaya and Todd! Our Dream Team!! Love you all so much!

Please keep us in prayer as we plan and move forward towards our next event together.

Many things were taught and heard on Saturday. We can not un-hear them.

So…let’s digest and start with PRAYER! As you reflect on the talks, the scripture taught, the worship music – then take it to God in prayer. If there are questions, struggles or heaviness on your heart about your job, your work life balance or your faith – take it to God in prayer!

Jesus teaches in John 16:23-24 the following about using His name in prayer :

“….I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name. You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.”

We are able to approach God directly in prayer because of Jesus!! Jesus has made us acceptable to God! He will give us abundant joy!! Pray using Jesus name.

I ask we start with prayer daily this week and pray the following scripture, Psalm 139:23-24, as WWRF!

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen”
