Awestruck – Rooted

It is MONDAY and it is cold outside!!

Our hope is you enjoyed your weekend with friends and family, got some needed rest and celebrated our amazing God!

As we move into this week at work and continue to “rediscover Jesus” – let this question ponder…

When is the last time you were awestruck by Jesus?

Read Matthew 9: 1-7. Jesus forgive sins. Jesus brings order to all. Not only DID Jesus forgive sins with His authority (being God), He backed up his claim by making the lame man walk in Matthew 9.

WHAT! A lame man walk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is amazing!!!!!!!!!!! I can not put enough exclamation points. Can you imagine the reaction the people had that day? Complete Awestruck!!!

Why is it we won’t allow ourselves to be awestruck by Jesus anymore? Have our hearts become too hardened? Have we become too cynical?

As I read “Rediscover Jesus”, Matthew Kelly asks – “Have we become so familiar with the astounding acts of Jesus’ life that we are no longer impressed?”

If nothing comes to you, then it may be time to rediscover our great Savior today!! Don’t wait, don’t hesitate, Rediscover Jesus, read His story, get in the Bible, seek Him, accept Him.
