Don’t Let the Enemy Win Twice
In Ecclesiastes 11:3 (NLT) we learn, “When clouds are heavy, the rains come down. Whether a tree falls north or south, it stays where it falls.” What happened has happened. Don’t live in regret. Just like the tree that falls; it has fallen. It can not be changed. Living in past regret keeps us from living our fullest in the presence of God today. By entrusting our hearts to our Heavenly Father, we no longer have to live in regret of past events in our life. They have been transferred from our hands to His. In Exodus 33 Moses is speaking to God saying, “If it is true that you look favorably on me, let me know your ways so I may understand you more fully and continue to enjoy your favor.” Moses was not a perfect man but he had a personal relationship with God!! Moses spoke to God often and he relied on God’s wisdom to guide him. We are called to have that same relationship. The response: The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Wow! What a promise!!! You are never alone; even in the days of your deepest sorrow. Reach out…seek God with…
