Changing the World On Person At A Time
Are you a Christian? This is a question we hope you are answering with a big YES! But stats tell us different – many people on social media where this blog will land are not Christians, but we beg you regardless of your faith belief – to please keep reading!!
This globe we live on is not reflecting love – we see this in our newsfeeds everyday. We see actions of hate, slandering, murder, cheating, and division.
It is heartbreaking and some days we can’t even comprehend the evil. But we at Rooted do have hope – our world can change. It can happen, we can reflect love to others. Keep reading…
How can I possibly change this you may be asking? First, let’s look at scripture and what God says about love.
In 1John 4:8 it says, “But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
Then…Last night at Pursuit Church, they gathered their Pursuit Group leaders. We are in 21 days of prayer and fasting for our church, our families, and our world. We worshiped the Lord last night through song and then Pastor Taylor talked about how we can make a difference in this crazy world that is lacking love – lacking God. He taught us how we are the light of Jesus in a dark dark world.
Take action! It starts in our homes with a decision to serve the Lord and then moves out to the world – so let’s talk about our workplace! This is where we can influence people by how we act and walk by faith. We are to remain faithful to our God daily and love others at work – like really love them.
We are to be the light that shines in a very dark world. You all, this is how God recognizes his people. We are made in His image, His image is love – He will recognize us by our LOVE.
Pastor Taylor also reminded us last night that when we love like Jesus to just one person, be the light, how it could affect thousands of people to know Jesus and that my friends will change the world!
Stand out today as a Christian!
Please do NOT blend in at work.
Walk your walk and shine for Jesus!
We will change the world one person at a time.
Stay Rooted,
We love you so much,
Lisa & Heather
