Who is Invited to Sit at Your Table?
“If you give special attention and a good seat to the rich person, but you say to the poor one, “You can stand over there, or else sit on the floor”—well, doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives?” James 2:3-4
Apply this to your office or work setting. Servant leaders welcome all people to the table. They don’t have favorites that they give the best seat to. They don’t just welcome the best performers, or those they like best.
James calls discrimination evil. Each and every person at your table is made in the image of God. Stop and think about that. It’s an amazing lens to view the world from. God views ALL people as equals.
